Untitled2

It's 4am and I still can't sleep
afraid to close my eyes
as in through my dreams you crawl and creep
sneaking back into my life.

The pain that you caused
lie's deep within
Hurt, lies and heartbreak
You still seem to bring

I can never forgive you
or forget what you've done
but I refuse to be beaten
because I can be strong.

You had it easy
Your lives have now gone
but the life that you left me
still has to go on.

so I lay down to sleep
not think of what you've done
or the innocence you stole from me
when I was still so young
