Here I Am

Here I am
Afraid to sleep
Afraid to close my eyes
Afraid to crawl into bed
It's so dark in here
Who is watching me?
Is there anyone out there?
Is there anyone in here?

As I pull the blanket up past my chin
I start to feel his hands on me, outside and within
It's quiet, all I hear is his moans in my ears
That sound I have heard for years
And though it's dark, I can see him smiling at me
That evil smile
You couldn't miss it, you can see if for a mile
I try and breathe
But someone's choking me and has stolen my breath
As my eyes finally begin to close
And that sleepy feeling sweeps over my body
The same pictures flash in my brain
Am I going insane? I can't take the pain!!
It feels like I'm trapped inside my mind,
In this dream world I scream, but no sound comes out
I feel someone behind me,
There's no where to run!
Where am I?
Who am I?
He's getting closer!!
Help me! Please!!
